Deep Purple's 1974 album, featuring Burn and Mistreated. Part of the Limited Purple Vinyl Series.
The 8th studio album from Deep Purple, Burn was released in 1974. The album was their first to feature David Coverdale on vocals and Glenn Hughes on bass.
With the addition of Coverdale and Hughes, their hard rock sound moved more toward a boogie-oriented sound with elements of soul and funk. This would influence the following album, Stormbringer.
