SIZZLA

Miguel Collins, better known as Sizzla, has had a strong run with VP Records, dating back to 1998, including seven original albums and three classic reissues, not including 11 additional titles through Greensleeves. His first solo single on VP was the Fatis Burrell-produced scorcher “Blasphemy” in 1995. His first LP on VP was Freedom Cry in the same year. Among reggae and dancehall fans, nothing compares to “Just One Of Those Days (Dry Cry)” and the album Da Real Thing, produced by Bobby Digital Dixon and distributed by VP Records in 2002. Among his other most popular recordings to date is “Give Me A Try” from Rise To The Occassion, released by Greensleeves in 2003. In all, Sizzla’s catalog is over 60 albums deep, making him one of the most prolific reggae and dancehall artists of the last 25 years.
