The Rotten Apple LP already boasts features from members of the G-Unit family - 50 Cent, Young Buck, Tony Yayo, Spider Loc and Mobb Deep, along with Scarface, Musiq, 8Ball and Rakim. "I tried to capture mixtape verses on album songs. Like the record I have with Rakim called "You Know the Deal," that it's bigger than just a record," Banks told Vibe.com last month. "Hip hop is a music tornado - it starts somewhere and who knows where its going to end up. There's a time and place for everything, bottom line. I just hope that when it comes back to [be centered around] lyricists, I get acknowledged for that." As far as production, Banks called on the likes of Eminem, Havoc and Timbaland.
